Twilight Sequel Confirmed, New Moon Is Coming

Rejoice Twilight fans and obsessers, your worries are over. After a great response from fans at the opening of the number one movie in America right now, Twilight, there will definitely be a sequel. And of course, you already know it's New Moon.

This weekend, the opening of the much anticipated film Twlight gave a fantastic response in way of box office numbers as millions of giddy tween/teen girls around the world got their fix of Robert Pattinson. And of course we can't forget Taylor Lautner either.

Despite the mixed reviews, the film was a huge hit, bringing in $7 million from the Thursday night midnight screening, then topping off with a mere $35.7 million on Friday. It is not only second to the Harry Potter series of films in terms of opening-day gross and non summer release, but is on it's way to becoming the highest-grossing film ever made by a female director and the highest-grossing vampire film in history.

Stephanie Myers was also excited about the sequel to come. "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment," the best-selling author said in a statement. "I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on 'New Moon.' "

The film has been rumored to be released around December of 2009, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

So, fans, are you stoked? Of course you are. Why am I even asking?

Travis Barker Suing After Fatal Plane Crash

Two months ago, Travis Barker and DJ AM were left nothing but unharmed after a fatal plane crash which killed four other passengers. Now, Barker will be suing the company who left him in critical condition.

He has recently filed a lawsuit against the pilots and Bombardier Inc., Clay Lacy Aviation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber. The lawsuit blames the pilot's training as one cause of the crash, saying that "The pilots were either poorly trained and/or failed to follow their training."

The suit also points the blame at the plane's landing gear, tires, wheels, brakes, reverse thrust system, and squat switches "were not airworthy" and the tires ultimately failed, "leaving tire debris and portions of airplane components along the 8,600-foot runaway."

Travis himself is suing for "pain and suffering, mental anguish, psychological and emotional distress and disfigurement and pre-impact fear of death and burning."

Family & Friends Weigh in on Bronx Wentz's Birth

Once again, welcome and congratulations to both new baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz and parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson. The little guy was born just a few days ago and the news can only get more centered around him, of course, as do the compliments and wishes come flying in from friends and family of the new parents.

Travis McCoy, close friend of Ashlee and Pete wrote in an e-mail letting out his feelings about the birth. It's okay Travis, men can cry too.

"I woke up to the news this morning, I couldn't be more elated, I cried like a pu---. I know how excited Pete and Ash have been [in] anticipation of this moment. Uncle Travie's ready to babysit the little guy, he's gonna be the greatest rapper alive by age 5 if I have my way!!!"

Oh, I'm sure he will be a great rapper. Also, Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman gave a message to the happy couple.

"Whenever a friend is about to have a baby, you just hope it'll come out healthy, with all its fingers and toes. It seems like this baby not only came out healthy, but with a little personality to boot. That made me smile, and laugh a bit. I'm nothing but ecstatic for Pete and Ash," Trohman wrote. "I'm literally on the other side of the country, and am still in some sort of shock. I guess it'll hit me in a few days when I head off to Los Angeles, and perhaps meet the little man for the first time. Either way, this is a big deal, and I don't think I have anything to say that can really encompass how important this is to everyone, including myself. Salud, Pete Wentz! You're a dad, and I think dads are pretty damn cool. I'm jealous (in a loving way)."

And there's no doubt that Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship will be attempting(and most likely succeeding) to get B.M.W. dressing just like him. One stylin' baby that will be.

"I just want to congratulate you guys on your new arrival (which I know you will nickname Gabey Baby)," he wrote. "Just to let you know, I am having a custom purple hoodie made with a special baby-proof bling gold chain with my face in it."

Twilight - I was DAZZLED

If there was anything to make my day, week rather, or even year, it was the film Twilight. Probably the best thing I could have done tonight to relieve stress and have a great time. And to think I almost didn't go.

Yeah, yeah. I know what you're gonna say. "She just liked it because of Robert Pattinson...." (okay, that's not entirely untrue, but still, hold on) It wasn't just because of his amazingly charming good looks and manners, or even the way - oh, my poor heart - he walks. Seriously. I thought it was a fantastic book-to-movie adaption, never mind the slight details which were either left out or extra thrown in. I was slightly disappointed by the fact that it moved along so quickly. But hey, what can you expect from a nearly 500 page book being condensed onscreen. I did like the fact that they actually put the fight scene into the movie, instead of like the book(of course I knew Bella was unconcious, so that's the reason why).

I wasn't at all disappointed with the casting. I completely approved of Edward's casting, of course(me and Melaina almost. The others were almost perfect in my opinion. And even Bella, who I've come to be entirely annoyed with as she is plain as can be, was cast well. As I watched it, I realized that even though she's not all that beautiful, she is in Edward's eyes so that's all that mattered. Though...I can say that I was disappointed at how much they exaggerated Edward's eyes and lips. Yeah, he's a vampire. Yeah, he's pale and has dark eyes. But couldn't they have lightened up on the guyliner and lip-stain just a little? Whatever. I did get used to it though.

Okay, now that I'm done with my little rant, I'll go and reflect back on the movie, the night, and bask in the glory of it all. I was, in all, very impressed.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz IS HERE!

The moment we've all been waiting and watching for has arrived. Precious baby boy, BRONX MOWGLI WENTZ, a.k.a. 'baby Wentz' to us Buzzneters, was born to parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz last night, November 20, 2008.

Just a little while earlier, we were notified that the new mother had just went into labor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. This must have come as quite a relief mixed with worry, of course, after last week's false-alarm, causing Wentz to cancel his appearance on Larry King Live.

Little Bronx came in weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 20 1/2 inches. "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes," a rep told People Magazine.

And if you're wondering where Bronx's familiar middle name came from, I think this might be a clue.

Congratulations, Pete, Ashlee, and of course, Bronx. We can't wait to see your face for the first time.

Live on FUSE December 16...Fall Out Boy!

You know when we thought Fall Out Boy's album Folie A Deux was supposed to have been released by November 4th, which means it would already be in your hands right now? Remember how they changed it to over a month later? Get ready, because December 16th is just about to get a whole lot more "suite." Details!

Fall Out Boy: All For One and One For All

In a recent interview with MTV, during the TRL Finale Live, Patrick Stump and co. have said that, just like the fans, have no idea when the much awaited baby Wentz will be born. At least that's what they told Tim Kash. More!

'Holly A Deux', Fall Out Boy Myspace Contest

If you've already got the info, then you're good to go. But for those who haven't heard about Fall Out Boy's current Myspace contest celebrating the coming of the new album, I've got you covered. As if there wasn't enough to be watching out for lately.

For the next 30 days the band will be giving away exclusive custom t-shirts just for their Myspace friends. There will only be 30 of these shirts made to give away. The shirt, of course, can be seen below.

Pretty decent, right? I want one. Please?

Not only do you have the chance to win a shirt, but also one extra lucky person will be chosen at random to receive a $500 gift card to make the holidays special. Now, if that's not incentive enough I don't know what is. And you better hurry, the first two winners have already been chosen and notified.

So what do you have to do to win? It's simple: become a friend of their's on Myspace if you already aren't, add their single 'I Don't Care' to your profile, let them know that you did by way of a comment and wait to win. Simple, huh? I'm pretty certain uber-preggo Ashlee Simpson is wishing having her precious bundle of joy out(like now!) would be that easy. Come on, little one. Give mommy some relief.

Pete Wentz:"If it weren't for Joe Biden, I would not exist as a human being"

That's right. If it wasn't for Joe Biden, running mate of President-Elect Barack Obama, Pete Wentz most likely wouldn't be here on planet earth, giving us lovely words for our ears to year and hearts to ponder over. Let's not try to picture that shuttering thought at the moment.

Vintage Wentz, Momma Wentz, and pre-gray hair Biden. Cute, right?

Some of you may have already heard that his parents met while working for Joe Biden, but he recently explained a little more about the ties he and his parents have with the future VP.

"I would not be standing here actually in reality at all because my parents met working for Biden. They met on the campaign, so they have this particular affection for Joe. He came to their wedding. If it weren't for Joe Biden, I would not exist as a human being."

So there you go. All Pete Wentz/Fall Out Boy fans, you pretty much owe Biden for all he's worth. And haters...well, now you have someone to blame.

Fall Out Boy Attempt At Guiness Book Of World Record Part Deux Begins!

They keep their word, don't they? Just like the guys said, on Halloween, today, they would attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Most Interviews on Radio in a 24 Hour Period by a Pair of Two. Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy began their journey about three this morning.

A list of the interviews so far, thanks to Crystal Cashdolla. The boys really want that record, huh?

I'm almost positive the guys are throwing out the craziest answers right now. Wouldn't you be too at three a.m.?

Now, you might be asking, 'What's the best way to keep up with this?'. You have a few options. Either watch for updates on the lovely Crystal Cashdolla's tumblr where she will faithfully keep track of the whereabouts of the guys, follow FOBinsider for moment-to-moment updates, or even Pete's tumblr and Twitter, which I'm sure he'll be updating often today. Does he ever stop?

Apparently not, according to his latest Twitter which isn't a suprise that he's up that early. Maybe insomnia comes in handy sometimes?

Aw, don't worry, Pete. Rigby and Hemmy still love you. I'm thinking my bet is safe that wifey Ashlee didn't get up either. She's about ready to pop. While you're at it, head over to petewentzonline.com and send your wishes to the future baby, Pete and Ashlee before November 16th. Remember, still hating fangirls, no negative comments. You shall be destroyed. Uh, not really. Carry on.

'Total Finale Live', Countdown to November 16

Yes, sadly, TRL will be having it's last show on November 16th, which will make it just slightly over 10 years since the show began.

On top of Carson Daly hosting the "Total Finale Live", as he did for the very first episode in 1998 also, there will be the hottest music acts present to help the show go out with a bang. The guest list includes Fall Out Boy(You know I'm stoked about that one, right?), 50 Cent, and the Backstreet Boys. Oh, and don't forget Beyonce too. Very good choice, MTV.

But hey, that's not all. In addition to the performances on the two hour special, guests will also include Ludacris, Mariah Carey, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Taylor Swift, Fred Durst and members of Good Charlotte and Korn. And don't forget that MTV.com and MTV News will be featuring countdowns, celebrating the best and favorite moments of the decade long show for the fans.

What was your favorite moment? Favorite episode? Are you sad to see TRL go?

Twitter Helping Terrorists?

Um...yeah, wait...what? That's what I thought when I first heard about it this morning from someone, even before I the full story. Turns out that the seemingly innocent micro-blogging tool, Twitter, that we are all so seemingly addicted to(I know I am), could be helping terrorists coordinate attacks on our U.S. troops.

So, yeah, we know Twitter is a convenient way to communicate and keep in touch with our interweb pals, but do terrorists really use the device to help plan attacks? Wired magazine's Noah Shachtman says yes.

"Twitter has also become a social activism tool for socialists, human rights groups, communists, vegetarians, anarchists, religious communities, atheists, political enthusiasts, hacktivists and others to communicate with each other and to send messages to broader audiences. Twitter is already used by some members to post and/or support extremist ideologies and perspectives. Extremist and terrorist use of Twitter could evolve over time to reflect tactics that are already evolving in use by hacktivists and activists for surveillance. This could theoretically be combined with targeting."

Okay. That gives us a little more. But is that all? I guess not.

Scenario 1: Terrorist operative "A" uses Twitter with (or without) a cell phone camera/video function to send back messages, and to receive messages, from the rest of his cell. Operative "A" also has a Google Maps Twitter Mash Up of where he is under a code word for other members of his cell (if they need more in-depth directions) posted on the WWW that can be viewed from their mobiles. Other members of his cell receive near real time updates (similar to the movement updates that were sent by activists at the RNC) on how, where, and the number of troops that are moving in order to conduct an ambush.

Scenario 2: Terrorist operative "A" has a mobile phone for Tweet messaging and for taking images. Operative "A" also has a separate mobile phone that is actually an explosive device and/or a suicide vest for remote detonation. Terrorist operative "B" has the detonator and a mobile to view "A's" Tweets and images. This may allow "B" to select the precise moment of remote detonation based on near real time movement and imagery that is being sent by "A."

Scenario 3: Cyber Terrorist operative "A" finds U.S. [soldier] Smith's Twitter account. Operative "A" joins Smith's Tweets and begins to elicit information from Smith. This information is then used for a targeting package (targeting in this sense could be identity theft, hacking, and/or physical.) This scenario is not new and has already been discussed for other social networking sites, such as My Space and/or Face Book.

In a world that is so technologically advanced, is it a good thing that we have all these things? Are they necessary? Are they maybe a little too convenient for every human to get ahold of, even going as far to use it for harm?

Fall Out Boy's Checkbox Shirt Added To Pre-Orders

As if there wasn't enough reason('Golden Tickets', of course!) already to pre-order Fall Out Boy's future album, Folie A Deux, the boys decided to give you one more. If you're a faithful reader of Pete Wentz's blog, you have probably already heard about the 'Fall Out Boy Hasn't Been Good Since...' shirt.

I say I couldn't choose. But of course, I'm biased with love.

As you can see the choices range from when the band started all the way to Infinity On High. Pete said that the shirt will include a sharpie so that you can choose for yourself.

But the best part about it? You will get it free of charge with your pre-order for Folie A Deux, as the band explains from a blog on their site.

We've read your ap.net, foe.com, and fob boardie posts and decided you little f**kers deserve more fun from the Super Fantastic Economical Hair Bear Jamboree Folie A Deux Pre-Sale. So, with NO EXTRA CHARGE to you, if you preorder or have already pre-ordered from package deux or trois, you'll now also get this shirt (which comes with a sharpee) so you can voice your opinion to the world!

The question stands: can you choose?

Last Episode of TRL, Starring Fall Out Boy

So, as some of you may have already heard, MTV's TRL will be coming to a close this fall. But there's good news...Fall Out Boy will be guesting on the last show which airs November 16th.

So if you are planning to go to NYC just to see the last show(or for some of us, just FOB), here are some tips from CFOBmania that will be sure to get attention drawn to yourself. And hey, you just might get to talk to the guys.

1. You can call the TRL hotline at 212-398-8549 to be part of the live studio audience.

2. Get there really, really early for the stand-by line.

3. You can wait outside and be the craziest fan out there and try to get their attention.

Now remember there will probrably be a ton of people there so you need to be creative and loud if you want to be noticed. Maybe even get a group together to do something and your chances of getting up there will definitely increase.

Remember that TRL always sends down cameras and hosts to interview fans and they ALWAYS bring people up. Just keep in mind that it will be the very last taping so chances of you getting in may be even tighter, but it never hurts to try.

There are certain days where you can wait in the stand-by line but it all depends on the celebrity on that day and the demand. Obviously the demand for this last show and because FOB will be on it will be much harder. However, I have faith one of our readers will get in. So if you live in NYC, and want to live blog or cover the event with pictures and what not, let me know!

Now, if you have the chance to go, do it! I think it's pretty amazing that the boys were asked for the last show for not the season...but ever!

And in other FOB news, don't forget to mark your calenders for the official release of 'America's Suitehearts'! If you haven't heard the longer clip of it yet, head over to CFOBmania to give your eardrums a high five.

Paramore's Live DVD, The Final Riot Release On Nov 25th

As if recording an amazing song for the most anxiously awaited movie, Twilight, wasn't enough, Paramore has decided to release a live dvd, The Final Riot!. We had been informed about the live dvd a while ago, getting us up and ready for the release which has now been confirmed for November 25th.

Back in August, front-woman Hayley Williams wrote in the band's LiveJournal, explaining what to expect from the dvd and why they chose to use their show from Chicago.

As you might have heard - or maybe you didnt? - we filmed the show tonight for a DVD that we hope to release later this year. We had original plans to shoot the show in Central Park next week but due to complications with our production set up and the venue, we had to change locations. I have to say, at first we were a little disappointed cause we were counting on NYC but now that we've filmed the show and played Chicago we are MORE than stoked that tonight was the night.

I realized before we came out for encore that it was here that we played our first ever headlining show, in 2006. So, it's even more special that we had to switch to tonight to film. Just feels right.

So...will you be getting your 'Riot!' on this fall?

Coldplay "Lost?" Video Contest

Lights! Camera! Coldplay! If you're crafty with photography, animation, or stop-motion, then this is for you. Currently, Coldplay will be holding a contest for whomever would like to enter to win VIP treatment at one of the band's shows this December in London.

The way to enter is simple: Make an original video for the track 'Lost?' from Vida La Vida(the version which is just vocals and piano), submit the url to lostvideos@coldplay.com, then cross your fingers and hope you'll dazzle them with your creativeness. But are there guidlines? Of course there are. Here's what the band says for what you should keep in mind when creating your unique video:

"Don’t use anyone else’s material (i.e. Please don’t splice together your favourite scenes from Spider-Man 3 and Mean Girls), don’t bother with Coldplay live footage or photographs as there’s enough of that on YouTube already."

So, now...what's the prize? A very, very nice one indeed: a pair of ultra-VIP tickets(a.k.a. backstage passes, wicked seats, and payment for travel and accomodations!) to see the band in London in December.

The final date for entries will be December 1st and the winner will be announced on the band's website by December 5th.
