Gabe Saporta Makes Them Gossip Girls Go Bad Again
When it came to the first time we heard that Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship would be collaborating withGossip Girl star Leighton Meester, I think I can speak for many of us who were more than a little skeptical. Fortunately, the song 'Good Girls Go Bad' from the band's album Hot Mess turned out to be a smash hit, oddly uniting both Cobra and GG fans alike. Now, Gabe is going into their court and taking a stab at acting. Can he handle it?
On May 14 we can see Mr. Saporta making his acting debut on the season finale of Gossip Girl and according to an article with E! News, he won't be playing a musician. Not a surprise as it seems that most shows guest starring musicians try to steer clear of allowing the person's real life to interweave into the show's storyline. Well, sometimes, because we can't forget the several episode stint of One Tree Hill in which a certain Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy was put into the script as an exaggerated version of himself. On the other hand, Patrick Stump of the same band has made his way onto the screen in Law & Order as a criminal suspect and then on House (even though his character is in a band, but whatevs.)
Will you be tuning in to see Gabe's debut?
